Samson Katt - Cancer Curriculum Student Training Program

The Chrysalis Initiative Cancer Curriculum Student Training Program is a program opportunity for students pursuing careers in medical sciences and/or research to expose them to topics related to health equity and the unique needs of patient populations vulnerable to disparities.  The program includes a digital learning management system with online instruction.  The program also includes a combination of virtual career shadowing experiences, self-guided and facilitated curriculum activities and interactive virtual sessions led by medical and public health professionals.  Students will also be engaged in a health equity focused project using data analytics and insights generated from patient engagement and surveys.  Upon successfully completing program requirements, students receive a certificate of completion and engage in additional hours of monthly continuing education as part of the school year engagement component.
